CRAWLEY FEELING THE PAYNE

CRAWLEY Town midfielder Josh Payne has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old is likely to be sidelined for six weeks as he requires an operation on an ankle.
Payne is pencilled in for surgery next week and manager Gabriele Cioffi said: “It is frustrating for us, but this is a problem Josh has had for some time.
“Every squad has injuries, but I feel they have broken our momentum this season.
“Luke Gambin has had a problem with the nerves in his quad, but hopefully he won’t be out for too much longer.”
