CHRIS Powell is unlucky to lose his job at Southend. He’s had horrendous luck on the injury front.
I remember at one stage near the start of the season he barely had a single midfielder fit for selection.
Nevertheless, there’s no disguising the fact that the Shrimpers are an easy team to beat. With 21 defeats pre-weekend, only three teams in the entire EFL had lost more matches.
I’ve watched them several times and once you get the first goal against Southend, they tend to crumble fairly quickly.
