NOTTS COUNTY are the oldest profes- sional football club in the world after being founded in 1862 but it took 128 years for them to reach a Wembley final.
It was only 12 months earlier that the Magpies were flirting with relegation to the Fourth Division, winning just nine of their opening 36 games.
They then appointed Neil Warnock as manager and only lost four of their remaining 18 games, missing out on the playoffs by a mere five points.
