JOAN WILL BE SADLY MISSED

ON FRIDAY, I attended the funeral of Joan Stewart, the wife of one of my great friends, Rotherham United chairman Tony.
They say behind every good man is a great woman and that was certainly the case here. Joan was a simple woman married to an exceptionally wealthy man, but she loved the “value for money” bargains she often shopped for.
Anyone who came into regular contact with her, as I did, could only love everything she stood for.
