CHUKS Aneke popped up with an 88th-minute winner as MK Dons triumphed at Newport County to climb to fourth.
The Dons started the game outside the play-off positions, south Wales.
FA Cup heroes Newport were made to pay the price for failing to take their chances as the visitors staged a smashand- grab.
Substitute Aneke gobbled up the rebound after Exiles keeper Joe Day had saved from Jake Hesketh.
