CARLISLE full-back Gary Miller certainly understands the need to stand back and appreciate a screamer on the rare occasion that they fly in.
The 31-year-old netted only his sixth career goal in the Cumbrians’ 2-1 defeat to Crewe on Tuesday when he struck a low drive into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
And while the day ended in defeat for Miller and co, a goal to mark his milestone 350th professional appearance provided something of a consolation.
