WHY LUTON ARE THE REAL DEAL

LUTON were asked to battle at Fleetwood Town’s Highbury base and that they did, as they showed why they are champions elect.
It was far from pretty, but the grit, resilience and endeavour they showed to make it 20 unbeaten proved this is a team that are determined to lift that trophy.
It was a tasty, physical affair but, with the challenges flying in and yellow cards thrown around like confetti by referee Peter Banks, Luton stuck to the task at hand.
Both sides were guilty of wasting their dead balls and Luton’s counter attack was maintained for the majority of the half.
