WHEN Scott Laird heard that Walsall were keen to sign him on loan, he didn´t need to think twice – and now he’s determined to prove he can still cut it in League One.
The left-back had endured a frustrating season at League Two promotion-chasers Forest Green Rovers, making just the single appearance in the Carabao Cup win at Swindon way back in August.
