BARNSLEY boss Daniel Stendel is sorry to lose assistant Andreas Winkler, but insisted “football will always go on”.
Winkler left the Tykes this week to join the backroom staff at Huddersfield under new manager Jan Siewert after the pair worked together at Rot-Weiss Essen in Germany.
Stendel said: “We didn’t plan for Andreas to leave and we valued his work.
But we have good staff here and I’m sure we will continue on our way.”
