MELLON’S PLEDGE TO ROVERS

LEAGUE TWO
MICKY Mellon is determined to keep driving Tranmere forward after extending his contract with the club until 2021.
The 46-year-old joined Rovers as manager in 2016 and guided the club to promotion back to the EFL last season.
Mellon, who had two spells at Prenton Park as a player, said: “We want to carry on with the hard work we’ve done to get to this stage. We know we have to continue to work hard and find ways to keep improving.
“We’ve grown the club back to where it is together and we will continue to do that, we just have to keep working.”
