THE international break can be a help or a hindrance.
If you are a side in form, when your players go away, you just hope they come back fit.
If you are out of form, a little break away from the club can freshen things up and I always enjoyed going away with Ireland.
Any illusions of grandeur will be quickly wiped away, however, if players return a little big for their boots.
Managers and teammates will be keen that when a player comes back from duty, his mind is on the bread and butter of the league.
