JACK Ross hopes Josh Maja’s goals can spearhead Sunderland’s promotion back to the Championship.
Maja, 19, had nine goals in 12 games before the international break and the Black Cats have a game in hand on their rivals at the top of League One.
‘It (Maja’s technique) doesn’t grab loads of headlines because it’s not top-corner,’ Ross said.
‘But if you see how he shifts it and where he puts it in the net, he’s so good at that.
