Born: Canning Town, London, 1977 (Age 41)
Playing Career: An attacking midfielder, Bowyer started his career at Charlton and made his First Division debut in the 1994-95 season. The following year he netted eight goals in 41 matches to seal a £2.8m move to Leeds – making him the most expensive teenager in English history.
