SOUTHEND could have caused Michael Kightly to fall out of football – now, he’s giving his all to bring the good times back to Roots Hall.
The 32-year-old winger made 19 appearances for the Shrimpers between 2003 and 2005, scoring once, but was rendered surplus to requirement at his boyhood club at the age of 19.
