CONOR Chaplin insists he joined Coventry so he could work with manager Mark Robins after finally completing his loan move from Portsmouth.
The striker has signed until January, when the deal is set to become permanent, after a nervous wait on Friday – the cutoff point for loan deals in the EFL.
The 21-year-old fired 22 goals in 104 games for Pompey and expects his strike-rate to vastly improve at the Ricoh Arena.
