LUQUE’S FEELING LUCKY AT LINCOLN

LINCOLN City new boy Joan Luque says he can’t thank Non-League Heybridge Swifts and their manager Jody Brown enough for their part in his fairytale story.
Just a year after arriving from Spain with only a rucksack and very basic English, the 26-year-old has been signed by the League Two club.
The attacker shone for Swifts in the Bostik North last season by scoring 30 goals and assisting 22 to earn a place in the division’s Team of the Year and a trial at the Imps.
