ASPIN’S ON GOAL TRAIL

LEAGUE TWO
A PROVEN goalscorer at League Two level is the top priority over the summer for Port Vale boss Neil Aspin.
Tom Pope has led the line for Vale this season, but Aspin is desperate to give the 32-year-old front man support as they look to push on next term.
He said: “We need to have several strikers who can score goals. We need to get, hopefully, players who have scored goals at this level.
“You are willing to take the odd gamble, but we would like to have players who have proved at this level they can score goals.”
