LADY Luck has smiled on Charlie Mulgrew this year – and that is what he credits for such a tremendous goal-scoring campaign.
The Scotland international, 32, came into this weekend with 14 goals for the season – an impressive haul for a man who plays mostly at centre-back.
And his goal in midweek against Doncaster confirmed Rovers’ promotion back to the Championship with a 1-0 triumph.
But the former Celtic defender modestly claims fortune has favoured him this season.
