NOTTINGHAM Forest manager Aitor Karanka has started planning for next season by deciding to keep hold of defender Tobias Figueiredo.
Figueiredo, 24, has shone in the Forest rearguard since joining on loan from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in January.
The Reds have now agreed to sign him permanently for an undisclosed fee in the summer. He will join on a four-year contract from July 1.
He said: “Nottingham Forest are a historic club and I am really excited.”
