ACCRINGTON goalkeeper Aaron Chapman is counting his lucky stars after missing Easter Monday’s game against Notts County due to a serious road accident, from which he escaped unscathed.
The 27-year-old Stanley keeper, who has been in impressive form for his club this season, skidded in the snow on the M1 on Monday and his car was hit by a lorry.
Chapman’s vehicle was written off, and the former Chesterfield man was advised to go to hospital, though he had just a grazed finger.
