SHAUN Williams feared for his Millwall future when he suffered a knee injury earlier this season but has still backed the club’s tough policy regarding players over the age of 30.
Midfielder Williams, 31, damaged knee ligaments in September but returned to the fold in December, won back his first-team place and automatically triggered a one-year contract extension by making his 15th league start in February.
