EDWARDS: BACK ME TO RETURN STRONGER

WALSALL vice-captain Joe Edwards says he will come back stronger after being ruled out for the rest of the season with a long-term knee injury.
The 27-year-old midfielder suffered the injury in the Saddlers’ 2-1 defeat by Blackburn at the Banks’s Stadium last weekend. Edwards is remaining positive, though, insisting on social media that he will fight to stay fit and recover quickly.
“Absolutely devastated with the news of my ACL injury,” he wrote.
