SCOTT Wagstaff is confident he can put his injury woes behind him and focus on keeping Gillingham in League One.
The 27-year-old midfielder limped off against Fleetwood in December with a hamstring strain but is confident he is back to his best.
He said: “My season has been a bit stop-start but hopefully I can stay healthy, stay in the team, carry on with the assists and chip in with a few goals.
“I’ve really enjoyed myself under the gaffer (Steve Lovell) and it’s a good group of lads. We need to make sure we are safe, first and foremost.”
