HAVING looked deep in relegation trouble, Oldham have given their League One survival hopes a real shot in the arm in the past month.
The Latics were stoic for the most part and clinical in claiming their third win in four matches at the expense of Scunthorpe’s stuttering play-off challenge. The return of Eoin Doyle from injury is also a big reason to be cheerful, with his 15th goal of the season coming within 16 minutes of his reintroduction.
