PEARCE’S LEADER QUALITIES SALUTED

JASON Pearce’s presence is just as important as his performances, according to Karl Robinson, and the Charlton boss admits he is desperate to develop more leaders in the defender’s mould.
The 30-year-old has battled a knee injury all season, playing just two games since September before emerging from the bench against MK Dons last weekend.
Asked if Pearce’s 90 minutes for the U23s on Monday was significant, Robinson replied: “Yes, but Jason’s 15 minutes in the dressing room before the game last Saturday was worth far more.
