A HIGH-TEC QUESTION…

I BUMPED into Dave Allison, manager of Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), last week.
My big question was when will fourth officials be given a screen so that managers can call for match-changing decisions to be reviewed. I get that we aren’t going to get a sophisticated approach in the lower leagues but I still believe that a form of technology is needed.
There are too many contentious decisions so there must be help given to officials so that we get more big decisions correct.
