TROTTERS BRING IN BIG JAN

CHAMPIONSHIP
BOLTON have signed former Sunderland midfielder Jan Kirchhoff till the end of the season. The former Germany Under-21 international, 27, has not played competitively since the end of last season, having made 23 appearances for the Black Cats.
Kirchoff, who has also played at Bayern Munich and Mainz, featured in defence and midfield for Sunderland last season.
The 6ft 5in midfielder joins the Trotters after impressing on trial.
