‘AMAZING’ is the word Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray uses to describe Adam Armstrong – and the onloan striker admits confidence is flowing after his recent hot streak.
Armstrong, on loan from Newcastle, celebrated his 21st birthday last weekend by coming off the bench to grab Rovers a 2-2 draw with Oldham, before netting twice in the 2-1 win at Portsmouth in midweek. And the striker is delighted to be living up to his billing with three goals in two games.
