Newcastle against Wimbledon, and it was Mirandinha’s first home game for us (Newcastle). It was quite a big thing in the old First Division. I think he was the first Brazilian to play in English football. We lost 2-1 – 1987 it was – and I would have been about seven. My dad took us down to the old Gallowgate End.
