CLUBS GO FOR GOLD

A TRIO of EFL clubs are keeping tabs on Whitehawk’s powerful striker Gold Omotayo Championship duo Ipswich and QPR, as well as League One outfit AFC Wimbledon, are monitoring him, as are Premier League Crystal Palace. The 23-year-old joined the National League South Hawks in late December and has scored four goals in his first four games.
He joined from Wettswil- Bonstetten, an amateur side in Switzerland’s fourth tier. He had been training with Whitehawk in the Swiss winter break before joining permanently.
