KNUDSEN STAYING AT IPSWICH

JONAS Knudsen is grateful to Ipswich after the extra season’s option on his contract was taken up.
The 25-year-old Danish left-back arrived from Esbjerg in 2015 and the Tractor Boys have now chosen to extend his deal through to 2019.
Knudsen said: “The option was there for the club and it wasn’t for me to do anything about.
“I haven’t heard anything else from the club but I only want to get on and do my best now.”
Meanwhile, 21-year-old midfielder Teddy Bishop will miss the rest of the season due to surgery on a hamstring injury.
