CHAMPIONSHIP

STEVEN Caulker has been released and allowed to search for a new club after being freed by QPR with immediate effect.
The one-cap England international, 26, is now a free agent after coming to an agreement with the Rs.
A club statement read: “Steven Caulker has left QPR by mutual consent with immediate effect. We wish him well for the future.”
Caulker joined QPR from Cardiff in 2014, but the defender has endured some difficult times in his career.
