HURST & CO ARE REAL DEAL

BACK in August, few would have expected Paul Hurst’s interlopers, currently second in the table, to be serious promotion candidates but, on the strength of this deserved victory over inform Portsmouth, it would be folly to dismiss them.
The Shrews were positive, full of endeavour and had Pompey hemmed into their own half for much of this game.
As they continue their momentum, backs have straightened in local pubs and the stands have been filled with good humour and indomitable optimism.
On the strength of this win, such optimism is not misplaced.
