BARKER SO GLAD TO STAY A BREWER

CLUB captain Shaun Barker has expressed his delight at the fact he will be staying with Burton Albion until the end of the season.
After being sidelined for more than four years with injury, the 35-year-old centre-back signed for the Brewers in August last year and made his debut as an injury-time substitute against his former club Derby County.
He signed a deal until the end of the campaign and made five substitute appearances as Burton stayed up last term. Manager Nigel Clough believes Barker, who has been helping out on the academy and ...
