Magical Montano doubles up for Vale

A CRISTIAN Montano double was the key as he earned Port Vale a valuable win over a blunt Cambridge United.
The efforts of their supporters and volunteers, who arrived early to clear the pitch of snow, were rewarded with a spirited display and a goal either side of half-time from the Colombian winger.
The hosts were keen for the game to go ahead against a Cambridge side that have been struggling on their travels, and have now failed to score in seven successive away matches.
