THERE was almost a reversal of a freak incident from a previous season, as Wycombe goalkeeper Scott Brown nearly got on the scoresheet in what turned out to be a goalless and unentertaining draw at Stevenage.
In this fixture two years ago, ‘Boro stopper Jesse Joronen struck when a long clearance bounced over his opposite number and Joe Fryer’s heart would have been in his mouth when he missed Brown’s free kick.
