LUTON FAIL TO SPARKLE IN TENSE DRAW

IT WASN’T a high-scoring draw, nor was it full of great excitement, but this game showed why Luton Town and Notts County sit first and second in League Two.
In front of the biggest home crowd at Kenilworth Road this season, Town opened the scoring from a set-piece, again proving they’re not all about free-flowing football and stunning goals from distance.
Backed by 810 fans, County appeared to embrace the elevated status of this match. A continuation of such a mentality in big games heading into 2018 will serve them well in their promotion bid.
