PRESTON LIFTED AS CLARKE RETURNS

PAUL Huntington is thrilled to see Preston’s defence look a bit more densely populated of late.
Having suffered a number of defensive injury crises so far, the previously- walking wounded have returned. Just over a week ago, club captain Tom Clarke made his first start of the season in a 1-0 win over QPR, having fully recovered from a ruptured Achilles.
