RICHARD ENJOYS ‘PAINFUL’ RETURN

FORMER Watford and Brentford goalkeeper Richard Lee admitted he ‘loved the experience’ of going between the sticks for Dunstable Town in midweek – even though they lost 4-1 and he felt ‘dreadful’ the next morning!
The 35-year-old stepped out of retirement on a oneoff basis as the Blues’ Ipswich loanee Nick Hayes, 18, who he mentors, was unavailable due to an England youth training camp.
Dunstable led 1-0 in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier clash at Bishop’s Stortford, but, ultimately, they were well beaten.
