PETER Ridsdale was the man who both hired and fired me at Preston North End.
He has worked quietly under the radar at Deepdale as the club have emerged from League One and positioned themselves to be looking upwards towards the Premier League.
His role has been as an advisor to the owner, but his mark on the football club is loud and clear. Much gets written about some people and much of what gets written is unfair.
