GARY Rowett is keen to keep Joe Ledley at Derby County.
In September, the 30- year-old Wales international, who had been a free agent after leaving Crystal Palace, put pen to paper on a short-term deal that keeps him at Pride Park until January. The midfielder has suitably impressed so far in a Rams shirt, scoring once in six Championship appearances. Derby manager Rowett says that he is keen to tie Ledley down to a longer deal, even if discussions with the player’s representatives have been kept mostly under wraps.
