McCann: Posh are ready for hectic spell

BANISHING the memories of last weekend’s stalemate with nonleague Tranmere Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup is high on the list of priorities for Peterborough boss Grant McCann. Posh laboured to a 1-1 draw against the National League outfit but that was quickly followed up with a 2-0 win in the Checkatrade Trophy against rivals Cambridge United. It’s the start of a hectic month for McCann’s side, which includes five league matches, as well as their replay against Tranmere on Wednesday.
