SMASH-AND-GRAB Plymouth climbed off the bottom of the table thanks to Jake Jervis’ goal at Bradford, and Derek Adams insists the win was no more than Argyle deserved.
The hosts twice hit the woodwork and Argyle goalkeeper Remi Matthews saved Tony McMahon’s penalty as the visitors hung on to extend their unbeaten run to six games.
But Adams was keen to downplay the importance of vacating 24th position, with plenty more work on the way for his side.
