LONG-SERVING goalkeeper Chris Day will be turning on Stevenage Council’s Christmas lights this month.
The 30-year-old, who joined Boro back in 2008, will be the man that launches the festive season in Stevenage town centre on November 30.
“Turning on the Christmas lights is a real honour,” said Day. “It is an event I have attended many times over the years and, seeing as I am coming up to my tenth year at the club, I think the timing is perfect.”
