NEIL’S BELIEF IS ENOUGH TO LIFT ACE TOM

TOM Barkhuizen admits the faith shown in him by Alex Neil has helped his progress this season with Preston.
The 24-year-old forward arrived at Deepdale from Morecambe midway through last season and has made a big impact in the Championship.
Last week’s start at Wolves was his 25th in a row, with Barkhuizen now clearly one of the first names on Neil’s teamsheets.
He has managed eight goals in that time, while also chipping in with the same number of assists, and that confidence has come in large part thanks to the belief shown by the former Norwich boss...
