STRUGGLING AFC Wimbledon have suffered a blow with the news that influential midfielder Dean Parrett is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The former Stevenage man, 25, picked up a groin injury in the Dons’ 3-0 defeat at Oxford last week.
Assistant manager Neil Cox said: “It is bad news as Dean is going to need an operation and he could be out for between 10-12 weeks.
“Dean had just started to have a run of games and a run of form, so it is a big miss for us.”
