Tables don’t give you the full picture
IT’S often said that the league table doesn’t lie, but you can also argue that it doesn’t tell the whole story either. It would be even more interesting to have a table showing clubs’ budgets alongside it. That would give you a clear indication as to who is over-achieving compared to the resources at their disposal and who is under-achieving.
