EIGHT months is a long time in football and Shola Ameobi claims he has seen a real attitude change at Notts County since joining the club in February.
The experienced Nigerian striker scored four times in 17 matches last season for County as they finished 16th. But the Magpies have been revived under Kevin Nolan this term and are firmly in contention for promotion.
Before the weekend, the 36-year-old striker was yet to score but insists the squad have a new-found confidence, something he credits to his former Newcastle teammate Nolan.
