NEW Port Vale manager Neil Aspin has settled into life at Vale Park quickly, according to Tom Pope.
The 32-year-old forward, who re-signed from Bury in the summer, is impressed with the way Aspin has bedded in following the sacking of Michael Brown.
He said: “Training has been very intense since Neil came in, as you would expect.
“He wants to see what the players are like, so we have had full games and five-a-side matches to try to give them a good idea.
“The manager can’t keep everyone happy but we get the impression every place is up for grabs.”
