CONOR Grant’s Liverpudlian roots will allow him to make a real impact at Crewe, according to boss David Artell.
The 22-year-old midfielder has joined on a season’s loan from Everton but has so far endured a stop-start campaign after suffering a head injury against Grimsby in early September.
Artell said: “He has that winning mentality and belief and that comes from being a Scouser. They have that in their culture.”
